Seniors community grants help community organizations provide opportunities for greater social inclusion, volunteerism and community engagement for older adults, from the safety of their homes or other safe environments.

The Inclusive Community Grants program helps ensure local governments and community organizations consider Ontarians of all ages and abilities at every stage of community planning and development.

EnAbling Change Program
The EnAbling Change program provides funding to not-for-profit organizations, industry organizations and professional associations to:
- educate their stakeholders about the value and benefits of accessibility
- help support compliance with accessibility laws
- promote a culture of inclusion

Government of Ontario funding

Seminars
Organizations can arrange seminars in their community about seniors’ health, safety and finances. Topics include:
- fire safety for older adults
- understanding Ontario’s personal income tax, tax credits and benefits
- Estate Administration Tax
- licence renewal process for drivers 80 and older
- bone health

Seniors Liaison Committee
The Seniors Liaison Committee facilitates two-way communication between the government and Ontario’s largest seniors’ organizations on policies, programs and services.
The committee members are organizations with leadership, knowledge, expertise and connections related to issues of aging in Ontario.
