On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Police Services Act was repealed on April 1, 2024;

And whereas the Ontario Police Arbitration Commission was continued as the Ontario Police Arbitration and Adjudication Commission under the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 as of April 1, 2024, with an expanded mandate and different composition;

And whereas pursuant to Order in Council numbered O.C. 1332/2022 Siegfried (Sig) Walter was reappointed as the Chair of the Ontario Police Arbitration Commission for a period of two years, effective from November 1, 2022;

And whereas pursuant to Order in Council numbered O.C. 677/2023 John McTaggart was appointed as a member of the Ontario Police Arbitration Commission for a period not exceeding one year, effective from May 18, 2023;

And whereas pursuant to Order in Council numbered O.C. 1675/2023 Mark Baxter was reappointed as a member of the Ontario Police Arbitration Commission for a period not exceeding one year, effective from January 1, 2024;

And whereas pursuant to Order in Council numbered O.C. 1677/2023 Patrick Weaver was reappointed as a member of the Ontario Police Arbitration Commission for a period not exceeding one year, effective from January 1, 2024;

And whereas pursuant to Order in Council numbered O.C. 1676/2023 Tim Reparon was reappointed as a member of the Ontario Police Arbitration Commission for a period not exceeding one year, effective from January 1, 2024;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 131(2) of the Police Services Act, as amended, Orders in Council numbered O.C. 1332/2022, O.C. 677/2023, O.C. 1675/2023, O.C. 1677/2023, O.C. 1676/2023 are hereby revoked effective the later of April 1, 2024, and the date this Order in Council is made.
