Background

The Ministry of Government and Consumer Services and Teranet are releasing a new and improved Teraview web-based application. The Teraview on the Web application is an online version of Teraview which is accessible and available in English and French.

The training environment for Teraview on the Web was made available as of September 5, 2017. Teraview users can access the Teraview on the Web training environment with their existing Teraview accounts and user names. A generic password will be published on Teranet’s Teraview website.

We recommend all Teraview users access this training environment to get familiar with the new version of Teraview. Training videos are available on Teranet’s Teraview website to assist with the understanding of the updates to Teraview.

Teraview on the Web Rollout

Teraview on the Web pilot began October 2, 2017 with select participants. The new application will be rolled out regionally across the province beginning January 8, 2018. Information on the rollout plan can be found at Teranet’s Teraview website. Please visit the site often for updates.

Either a soft or hard RSA token (also known as a one-time password token) is required to sign Instruments for completeness and/or release for Teraview on the Web. The setup and fulfillment of the tokens will follow the regional rollout plan. If your region is to begin or has started the transition and you have not ordered or received a token, please contact Teranet directly by email at teraviewweb@teranet.ca.
