OBJECTS OF THE OFFICE

This is the English version of a bilingual regulation.

1. The Office has the following objects in addition to those set out in section 3 of the Act:

1. For the purposes of clause 18 (1) (c) of the Ontario College of Teachers Act, 1996, to develop examinations relating to proficiency in mathematics and to undertake the administering and marking of the examinations in accordance with Ontario Regulation 271/19 (Proficiency in Mathematics) made under that Act.

2. To conduct research and collect information in order to assess the ability and confidence of individuals writing the examinations referred to in paragraph 1.

3. To report to the Minister on the results of the examinations referred to in paragraph 1. O. Reg. 272/19, s. 1; O. Reg. 205/24, s.1.
