Amending O. Reg. 11/21

(STAY-AT-HOME ORDER)

1. Section 2 of Ontario Regulation 11/21 is amended by adding the following subsection:

(2) Beginning on February 10, 2021, this Order applies to every individual residing in a particular health unit if another Order made under the Act specifies that this Order applies to that health unit.

2. Section 3 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

Definition

3. In this Order,

“health unit” means a health unit as defined in the Health Protection and Promotion Act.

3. (1) Subsection 1 (1) of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “remain in their place of residence at all times unless leaving their place of residence is necessary” in the portion before paragraph 1 and substituting “remain at the residence at which they are currently residing at all times unless leaving their residence is necessary”.

(2) Paragraph 8 of subsection 1 (1) of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “to provide curbside pickup under the Stage 1 Order” at the end and substituting “to provide the alternative method of sale”.

(3) Paragraph 9 of subsection 1 (1) of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “by appointment under the Stage 1 Order” at the end and substituting “by appointment only”.

(4) Subparagraph 16 ii of subsection 1 (1) of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “under the Stage 1 Order” at the end.

(5) Paragraph 24 of subsection 1 (1) of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “permitted under the Stage 1 Order” and substituting “permitted by law”.

(6) Subsection 1 (2) of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

(2) Despite subsection (1), no person shall attend a business or place that is required by law to be closed, except to the extent that temporary access to the closed business or place is permitted by law.

(7) Subsection 1 (5) of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “place of residence” wherever it appears and substituting in each case “residence”.

(8) Subsection 1 (6) of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “required to be closed under the Stage 1 Order” at the end and substituting “required by law to be closed”.

(9) Subsection 1 (7) of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “under the Stage 1 Order” at the end and substituting “by law”.

(10) Subsection 1 (8) of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

(8) For greater certainty, individuals may only attend an outdoor organized public event or social gathering for a purpose set out in subsection (1) if the event or gathering is permitted by law.
