Amending O. Reg. 316/08
(DESIGNATION - FLOWERS CANADA (ONTARIO) INC.)
1. (1) Subsection 3 (1) of Ontario Regulation 316/08 is amended by striking out “0.025” and substituting “$0.04” and by striking out “$16,500” and substituting “$34,000”.
(2) Subsection 3 (2) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:
(2) For the year starting on July 1, 2023 and ending on June 30, 2024, the fees payable shall be $0.035 per square foot of greenhouse floriculture plants grown, to a maximum of $29,750.
2. Section 4 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:
Time of payment of fees
4. (1) On or before July 1 in each year, every producer who is required to pay licence fees under subsection 3 (1) shall forward the fees to the association.
(2) In 2023, every producer who is required to pay licence fees under subsection 3 (2) shall forward the fees to the association on or before September 1.
Commencement
3. This Regulation comes into force on the later of July 1, 2023 and the day this Regulation is filed.
