On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 5 (1) of the Executive Council Act, for as long as any Minister of the Crown shown in Column 1 is absent or unable to act, the powers and duties that have been assigned or may be assigned by law to that Minister, are assigned and transferred to the Minister shown in Column 2 opposite, to be exercised from time to time during the absence or inability to act of the Minister shown in Column 1:

Further, that in the absence or inability to act of the President of the Treasury Board, his or her powers and duties be assigned and transferred to the Vice-Chair of the Treasury Board and the Management Board of Cabinet and, in the Vice-Chair’s absence or inability to act, the Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Tradeand in that Minister’s absence or inability to act, to the Solicitor General subject to the provisions of subsection 1.0.3 (3) of the Financial Administration Act and subsection 2 (5) of the Management Board of Cabinet Act with respect to meetings of the Treasury Board and the Management Board of Cabinet;

And further, this Order in Council shall not be construed as appointing alternate members of the Treasury Board and the Management Board of Cabinet pursuant to subsection 1.0.2 (2) of the Financial Administration Act and subsection 2 (3) of the Management Board of Cabinet Act;

And that Order in Council OC-1087/2022, dated August 3, 2022, as amended by Order in Council OC-763/2024, dated June 06, 2024, Order in Council OC-1178/2024, dated August 29, 2024 and Order in Council OC-1277/2024, dated September 26, 2024 be revoked.
