Project overview

Prevent the periodic deterioration of water quality in the town’s water distribution system by lining water mains with an innovative polymeric barrier liner.

As part of the project, Napanee is collaborating with the University of Ottawa to test a new pipe-drying system.

Expected outcomes

  • improve drinking water quality
  • pilot test a new technology
  • reduce infrastructure replacement costs
