Search must have at least 2 characters.

We couldn't find the medication you're looking for

We couldn’t find the medication you’re looking for. Please double check the spelling of the medication. If the spelling is correct, this could mean the medication on your prescription isn’t covered, but it could still be eligible for coverage through the Exceptional Access Program or another program.

Eligibility

The Ontario Drug Benefit (ODB) program covers most of the cost of approximately 5,000 medications you can search for on this page. You may be covered by Ontario Drug Benefit if you have OHIP coverage and are:

  • eligible for OHIP+
  • age 65 or older
  • living in a long-term care home or a home for special care
  • receiving professional home and community care services
  • enrolled in the Trillium Drug Program

You are also covered by ODB if you are enrolled in Ontario Works or the Ontario Disability Support Program.

Learn more about ODB eligibility.

Other medications

If you are covered by the ODB program and need help paying for a medication that is not found in the search tool, it may be covered through the Exceptional Access Program (EAP).

Learn more about EAP and how to be considered for coverage.
