1. Age requirements

  1. Age requirement(s):
    1. Junior A: 10–12 years old
    2. Junior B: 13–15 years old
    3. Intermediate: 16–18 years old
    4. Senior: 19 years and above

2. Weight requirements

  1. In single elimination competitions, the following will be the maximum weight differences for all junior, intermediate and senior bouts:
    1. For Male and Female Athletes - Under 48 kg (no more than 2 kg difference)
    2. For Female Athletes - Between 48 kg and 60 kg (no more than 3 kg difference)
    3. For Male Athletes - Between 48 kg and 67 kg (no more than 3 kg difference)
    4. For Female Athletes - Between between 60 kg and 70 kg (no more than 4 kg difference)
    5. For Male Athletes - Between 67 kg and 91 kg (no more than 4 kg difference)
    6. For Male Athletes - Above 91 kg (no difference)
    7. For Female Athletes - Above 70 kg (no difference)
