1. Age requirements
- Age requirement(s):
- Junior A: 10–12 years old
- Junior B: 13–15 years old
- Intermediate: 16–18 years old
- Senior: 19 years and above
2. Weight requirements
- In single elimination competitions, the following will be the maximum weight differences for all junior, intermediate and senior bouts:
- For Male and Female Athletes - Under 48 kg (no more than 2 kg difference)
- For Female Athletes - Between 48 kg and 60 kg (no more than 3 kg difference)
- For Male Athletes - Between 48 kg and 67 kg (no more than 3 kg difference)
- For Female Athletes - Between between 60 kg and 70 kg (no more than 4 kg difference)
- For Male Athletes - Between 67 kg and 91 kg (no more than 4 kg difference)
- For Male Athletes - Above 91 kg (no difference)
- For Female Athletes - Above 70 kg (no difference)
- For tournament format events, the following divisions will apply:

- Athletes are registered in the following classification:
- Novice class: 0 to 10 bouts
- Open class: 11 bouts or more
- Prestige class: 20 bouts or more by application only
