Introduction

Research on the impact of early relational trauma on the developing child is vast. Recent advances in the fields of neuroscience, interpersonal neurobiology, attachment and trauma have helped us widen our lens away from focusing solely on the individual to recognizing the important role relationships play in shaping personality and promoting positive developmental outcomes. Below is a listing of resources designed to help translate over 60 years of research into guidelines and strategies specific to clinical practice and parenting.
