2023 Ontario Permanency Funding Policy Guidelines
The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services is committed to ensuring that children, youth and families that receive child welfare services have the supports they need to succeed and thrive. The objective is for children’s aid societies (societies) to continually work with the child’s family and extended family or community towards establishing a stable, safe and permanent home for the child. It is anticipated that members of a child’s family, extended family or community may require financial assistance and service supports in order to support this goal.
