Keeping health care providers informed of payment, policy or program changes

The Ministry of Health (the "Ministry") would like to update you about changes being made to support COVID-19 containment efforts.

The Ontario Public Service (OPS) is implementing changes to support social distancing by enabling employees to work remotely, wherever feasible. In order to ensure minimal disruption to application-based funding programs, the Ministry is implementing the following changes effective immediately:

  • Temporary suspension of mailed/couriered applications for identified programs
  • Only applications that are sent by email to the designated ministry account will be accepted
  • Applications that include electronic signatures (i.e. scanned original, electronic device applications, or digital) will be accepted in lieu of original, signed documents
