Background

An agreement has been reached between the Ministry of Health (ministry) and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) for how services provided with payment program ‘WCB’ received compensation increases related to the 2019 Kaplan Board of Arbitration Award (Award). Claims billed with payment program WCB received compensation adjustments equal to those outlined in Section 21(a) of the Binding Arbitration Framework in accordance with the Award.

These payments were made on the February and March 2021 Remittance Advice (RA).
