Ontario Highway Transport Board

Periodically, temporary applications are filed with the Board. Details of these applications can be made available at anytime to any interested parties by calling (416) 326-6732.

The following are applications for extra-provincial and public vehicle operating licenses filed under the Motor Vehicle Transport Act, 1987, and the Public Vehicles Act. All information pertaining to the applicant i.e. business plan, supporting evidence, etc. is on file at the Board and is available upon request.

Any interested person who has an economic interest in the outcome of these applications may serve and file an objection within 29 days of this publication. The objector shall:

  1. complete a Notice of Objection Form,
  2. serve the applicant with the objection,
  3. file a copy of the objection and provide proof of service of the objection on the applicant with the Board,
  4. pay the appropriate fee.

Serving and filing an objection may be effected by hand delivery, mail, courier or facsimile. Serving means the date received by a party and filing means the date received by the Board.

Applies for an extension to extra provincial operating licence X-1456 as follows:

For the transportation of passengers on a one way chartered trip from:

  1. points in the Provinces of Quebec and New Brunswick as authorized by the relevant jurisdiction from the Ontario/Quebec border crossing:
    1. to points in Ontario;
    2. in transit through Ontario to the Ontario/Manitoba and the Ontario/USA border crossings for furtherance.
  2. hotels located in the City of Toronto and the Regional Municipality of Peel to the Ontario/Quebec or the Ontario/USA border crossings for furtherance;

    Provided That:
    1. all such passengers shall have had a prior movement by air, cruise ship or train to point of origin and an individual transfer to the hotels located in Toronto and Peel;
    2. all such chartered trips should originate from outside of Canada and be returning to the point of origin;
    3. there will be no pick up of passengers except at the hotels located in the City of Toronto and the Regional Municipality of Peel ora discharge of passengers except at the point of destination located outside the Province of Ontario.
  3. the John C. Munro Airport (Hamilton), the Macdonald-Cartier Airport (Ottawa) and the Ottawa Railway Station to the Ontario/Quebec or Ontario/USA border crossings for furtherance.

    Provided That:
    1. all such passengers shall have had a prior movement by air to point of origin or a subsequent movement by air to point of destination;
    2. all such chartered trips should originate from outside of Canada and be returning to the point of origin
