Protecting Rewards Points Act (consumer Protection Amendment), 2016
Order in Council 2043/2017 directed the issuance of a proclamation in respect of the Protecting Rewards Points Act (Consumer Protection Amendment), 2016. The proclamation, issued on October 18, 2017, names January 1, 2018 as the day on which sections 1 to 3 of the Act come into force. The revocation of the proclamation is now desired.
Therefore, we, by and with the advice of the Executive Council of Ontario, revoke the proclamation.
