Ingredients

Blueberries:

  • Freezer bags

Peaches:

  • 4 cups (1 L) sliced peaches
  • Freezer bags
  • Baking sheet
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) fruit preservative
  • Wax paper
  • Plastic containers

Instructions

Blueberries

Wash blueberries and pat dry and place in a single layer on a cookie sheet. Freeze until solid and then transfer to freezer bags. When you want to use your frozen blueberries, don't defrost them; add them frozen to recipes to ensure their blue hue doesn't bleed.

Peaches

Peel, pit and slice peaches. To freeze, place slices on a baking sheet. Transfer frozen slices to airtight bags.
