The U.S. mid-Atlantic region has made some notable gains in investments in local cybersecurity, development of cybersecurity intellectual property (IP), and an enhanced talent ecosystem, with a significant crossover between commercial, federal, and defense/intelligence markets.

Ontario companies will benefit from 1 pass per company for the Billington Cybersecurity Summit (https://billingtoncybersummit.com), attendance to the Canadian cyber security reception (1 person/company), participation in a B2B program subject to buyers' interest, sector/market-specific briefing on the current U.S. and ICT trends and opportunities, database of potential buyers in the U.S., 1:1 export advice and consultation. Cost initially estimated at CAD $2,000 per company (travel and accommodation extra). Applicants can apply for export funding with CanExport.

Interested companies Ontario companies must have experience selling to large companies and/or Government departments, demonstrate to be based in Ontario with an exportable product or service, have 3 or more full time employees in the Province, $100,000 or more in declared revenue for the past fiscal year, and must have been in business for at least two (2) full years.

Note: This program is specialized companies willing to spend time and resources navigating the very lucrative but slower process-intensive U.S. government and military markets; ideally already in contact with some of these organizations, and with the means to make more trips to nurture you these relationships.
