Contents of the memo:

I have been advised by the Ministry of Finance that they have decided to administratively waive the requirement for a land transfer tax affidavit to form part of a Notice of Claim under section 113 of the Registry Act.

I understand there have been different practices in some land registry offices but effective immediately staff should not ask for a land transfer tax affidavit on these notices.
