This Regulation is made in English only.

1. In this Regulation,

“Mayer Landfill Site” means any landfill site that is located in whole or in part on any part of Lot 1 and the Commons Lot, Concession 1 and Broken Front Concession of the former Township of West Hawkesbury (now the Township of Champlain) in the County of Prescott.  O. Reg. 565/00, s. 1.

2. (1) Any enterprise or activity of increasing the area on which waste may be deposited or expanding the volume of waste that may be deposited at the Mayer Landfill Site is defined as a major commercial or business enterprise or activity and is designated as an undertaking to which the Act applies.  O. Reg. 565/00, s. 2 (1).

(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to an enterprise or activity that is authorized by Provisional Certificate of Approval No. A-471506, as amended up to June 19, 1998, or by a certificate of approval issued under section 31 of the Environmental Protection Act.  O. Reg. 565/00, s. 2 (2).
