EXTENDING TERM OF VALIDITY OF SAFETY STANDARDS CERTIFICATES

Validity of safety standards certificate extended

1. Despite clause 2 (1) (a) of Regulation 628 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990, the term of validity of a safety standards certificate is extended until the day this Regulation is revoked if, without the extension, the certificate would cease to be valid for the purpose of receiving a permit for a used motor vehicle by reason of the expiry of the 36-day period referred to in that clause on or after the day this Regulation comes into force.
