Blue box waste

Note: This Regulation is revoked on November 30, 2016, the day clause 73 (1) (b) of Schedule 2 to the Waste-Free Ontario Act, 2016 comes into force. (See: O. Reg. 395/16, s. 1)

This Regulation is made in English only.

Blue box waste materials

1. Waste that consists of any of the following materials, or any combination of them, is prescribed as blue box waste for the purposes of the Act:

1. Glass.

2. Metal.

3. Paper.

4. Plastic.

5. Textiles.  O. Reg. 273/02, s. 1.

Industry funding organization

2. Stewardship Ontario is designated as the industry funding organization for the waste diversion program for blue box waste approved by the Minister under section 26 of the Act.  O. Reg. 34/08, s. 1.
