ONTARIO REGULATION 150/05
PERSONAL INFORMATION

Interpretation
1. In this Regulation,
“ODB data” means personal information kept by the Ministry about a recipient, including name, health number, drug claims history and related personal information; (“données du régime”)
“public hospital” means a hospital as defined in section 1 of the Public Hospitals Act; (“hôpital public”)
“recipient” means a person who receives drug benefits under the Act. (“bénéficiaire”) O. Reg. 150/05, s. 1.
Prescribed purpose
2. For the purposes of subsections 13 (1), (2), (3) and (4) of the Act, the following are prescribed purposes:
1. Facilitating access to ODB data by a public hospital where the recipient to whom the ODB data relates is seeking care in the emergency department of that public hospital. O. Reg. 150/05, s. 2.
Prescribed conditions
3. The Minister shall not disclose ODB data for a purpose mentioned in paragraph 1 of section 2 unless the public hospital is a party to an agreement with the Minister under subsection 13 (4) of the Act. O. Reg. 150/05, s. 3.
