Lower-tier municipality by-law re signs etc.

1. Despite paragraph 5 of subsection 11 (2) and section 59 of the Act, a lower-tier municipality may pass a by-law under section 11 of the Act to prohibit or regulate the placing or erecting of any sign, notice or advertising device within 400 metres of any limit of an upper-tier highway.
