NON-APPLICATION OF ACT TO CERTAIN CANNABIS AND CANNABIS PRODUCTS

Industrial hemp
1. The Act does not apply to activities respecting,
(a) any form of industrial hemp, as those terms are defined by the Industrial Hemp Regulations made under the Cannabis Act (Canada), to which those Regulations apply; or
(b) derivatives or products made from derivatives that are subject to an exemption under section 2 of those Regulations. O. Reg. 415/18, s. 1.
Drugs under the Food and Drugs Act (Canada)
2. The Act does not apply to activities respecting drugs within the meaning of the Food and Drugs Act (Canada) that are authorized for sale under that Act.
