REGULATORY AUTHORITY - DESIGNATION AND DELEGATED PROVISIONS

Historical version for the period November 6, 2020 to January 31, 2021.

Note: THIS REGULATION IS NOT YET IN FORCE. It comes into force on February 1, 2021, the day subsection 2 (1) of Schedule 1 to the Strengthening Protection for Ontario Consumers Act, 2017 comes into force.

Designation of regulatory authority

1. The corporation known as Home Construction Regulatory Authority is designated as the regulatory authority.

Provisions delegated to the regulatory authority

2. The following Parts and provisions of the Act are designated as delegated provisions for the purpose of subsection 2 (2) of the Act:

1. Part I.

2. Part III.

3. Part IV.

4. Part V.

5. Sections 80, 81, 82, 86, 86.1, 86.2, 86.3.
