DEFINITION OF JOURNEYPERSON

Note: THIS REGULATION IS NOT YET IN FORCE. It comes into force on January 1, 2022, the day section 66 of the Building Opportunities in the Skilled Trades Act, 2021 comes into force.

Definition of “journeyperson”

1. For the purposes of the Act and the regulations,

“journeyperson” means an individual who holds a certificate of qualification or an individual who practices as a journeyperson in a trade that is not prescribed as compulsory and who does not hold a certificate of qualification in that trade.
