Building Opportunities in the Skilled Trades Act, 2021

Note: THIS REGULATION IS NOT YET IN FORCE. It comes into force on January 1, 2022, the day section 66 of the Building Opportunities in the Skilled Trades Act, 2021 comes into force.

Prescribed person

1. The employee of the Corporation known as the Coordinator of Assessments and Hearings is prescribed as the person who shall conduct hearings under sections 12, 15 and 19 of the Act.

Hearings

2. (1) Hearings under sections 12, 15 and 19 of the Act shall be conducted in writing unless a party satisfies the Coordinator of Assessments and Hearings that there is good reason for not doing so.

(2) Oral and written hearings under sections 12, 15 and 19 of the Act shall be conducted in accordance with the Statutory Powers Procedure Act.
