EXCEPTION TO TIME LIMIT FOR STANDARD LOCATE REQUESTS

Large locate requests

1. (1) For the purposes of clause 6 (5) (b) of the Act, if a member of the Corporation receives a notification under subsection 6 (1) of the Act about a standard locate request made with regard to a large excavation or dig site, the time limit that applies instead of the time limit set out in subsection 6 (3) of the Act is 10 business days after the member receives the notification.

(2) In this section,

“large excavation or dig site” means an excavation or dig site that is comprised of,

(a)  at least two properties or parts of properties, each having its own municipal address, or

(b)  one or more properties or parts of properties, at least one of which has no municipal address.
