BOARD — COMPOSITION AND REMUNERATION

Note: On the day subsection 81 (3) of Schedule D to the Ministry of Government Services Consumer Protection and Service Modernization Act, 2006 comes into force, the title is revoked and the following substituted:

This Regulation is made in English only.

1. The Board of Funeral Services shall be composed of,

(a) eight funeral directors appointed under paragraph 1 of subsection 4 (1) of the Act; and

(b) five persons appointed under paragraph 2 of subsection 4 (1) of the Act. R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 467, s. 1; O. Reg. 583/92, s. 1; O. Reg. 229/97, s. 1.

2. The remuneration payable to a member of the Board who is a funeral director is, for each day that the member is actually engaged in the business of the Board,

(a) $150 for the chair of the Board;

(b) $125 for the vice-chair of the Board; and

(c) $100 for a member of the Board other than the chair or vice-chair. R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 467, s. 2.

3. A member of the Board who is a funeral director shall be reimbursed for expenses reasonably incurred by that member in the performance of his or her duties as a member of the Board. R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 467, s. 3.
