SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAMS

This is the English version of a bilingual regulation.

1. The maximum amount that may be expended by a municipality under a program referred to in subsection 112 (2) of the Act is $5 per person based on the latest census made by the assessor under the Assessment Act. R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 814, s. 1.

2. For the purposes of section 112 of the Act,

“small business” means a business that has less than 100 employees. R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 814, s. 2.

3. Despite section 1, the maximum amount that may be spent by The Regional Municipality of Hamilton-Wentworth under the program authorized by Order in Council 2292/89 dated the 29th day of September, 1989 is $10 per person based on the latest census made by the assessor under the Assessment Act. O. Reg. 223/91, s. 1.
