Amending O. Reg. 620/05

(High Occupancy Vehicle Lanes)

1. Section 2 of Ontario Regulation 620/05 is amended by adding the following paragraph:

9.   The person is operating a motor vehicle to which are attached valid number plates that,

i. are issued by the Ministry,

ii. have green lettering on a white background, and

iii. display the words “GREEN VEHICLE” or “VÉHICULE ÉCOLOGIQUE”.

2. Paragraph 9 of section 2 of the Regulation, as made by section 1 of this Regulation, is revoked on the fifth anniversary of the day this Regulation comes into force.

3. This Regulation comes into force on the later of July 1, 2010 and the day this Regulation is filed.
