Amending O. Reg. 495/10

(General)

1. The definition of “remote unlicensed distributor” in subsection 1 (1) of Ontario Regulation 495/10 is revoked and the following substituted:

“remote unlicensed distributor” means a person or entity prescribed by the Minister;

2. Section 2 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:

(1.1) The Minister may, for the purposes of clause (e) of the definition of “eligible account” in subsection 2 (1) of the Act, prescribe the conditions that a consumer or the consumer’s account with a remote unlicensed distributor must satisfy in order for the account to be an eligible account for the purposes of the Act.

Commencement

3. This Regulation is deemed to have come into force on January 1, 2011.
