Amending O. Reg. 135/18

(DESIGNATION OF DISEASES)

1. Section 2 of Ontario Regulation 135/18 is amended by adding the following paragraph:

25. Diseases caused by a novel coronavirus, including Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

2. Item 18.1 of the Table to the Regulation is amended by striking out “Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS)” in Column 1 and substituting “Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and coronavirus disease (COVID-19)”.

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
