Amending Reg. 855 of R.R.O. 1990

(OIL AND GAS - OFFSHORE)

1. The definition of “professional engineer” in section 1 of Regulation 855 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is revoked.

2. The English version of subclause 87 (c) (i) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

(i)  an engineer, or

3. The English version of clause 99 (c) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “a professional engineer” and substituting “an engineer”.

Commencement

4. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day subsection 1 (1) of Schedule 15 to the Supporting People and Businesses Act, 2021 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
