Amending Reg. 569 of R.R.O. 1990

(REPORTS)

1. Regulation 569 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by adding the following section:

0.1 The following persons are prescribed as practitioners for the purposes of clause 25 (2) (g) of the Act:

1.  A person who is registered with a regulatory authority in a Canadian jurisdiction other than Ontario, and who holds in that jurisdiction the equivalent of a certificate of registration authorizing independent practice as a physician in Ontario.

2.  A person who is registered with a regulatory authority in a Canadian jurisdiction other than Ontario, and who holds in that jurisdiction the equivalent of a certificate of registration in the general or extended class for registered nurses or the general class for registered practical nurses in Ontario.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of July 24, 2023 and the day this Regulation is filed.
