Amending O. Reg. 413/05
(VEHICLE WEIGHTS AND DIMENSIONS - FOR SAFE, PRODUCTIVE AND INFRASTRUCTURE-FRIENDLY VEHICLES)
1. (1) Clause 5 (2) (b) of Ontario Regulation 413/05 is amended by striking out the portion before subclause (i) and substituting the following:
(b) if the truck was built before January 1, 2024 or the tractor is drawing a semi-trailer that was built before January 1, 2024, the controls,

(2) Clause 5 (2) (c) of the Regulation is amended by striking out the portion before subclause (i) and substituting the following:
(c) if the truck was built on or after January 1, 2024 or the tractor is drawing a semi-trailer that was built on or after January 1, 2024, the control is an emergency lift axle override control that meets all of the following conditions:

(3) Subclause 5 (2) (c) (ii) of the Regulation is revoked.
2. The Table to Schedule 30 of the Regulation entitled “Dimensional Limit Chart” is amended by striking out the row with a dimensional limit of Min. 6.0m in the fourth Column and substituting the following:

3. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2024 and the day this Regulation is filed.
