Amending Reg. 619 of R.R.O. 1990

(SPEED LIMITS)

1. Section 7 of Regulation 619 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by adding the following subsection:

(4.1) Despite paragraph 18 of Part 4 of Schedule 13, no person shall operate a motor vehicle at a greater rate of speed than 60 kilometres per hour on days during which school is regularly held between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on that part of the King’s Highway known as No. 11 in the City of Temiskaming Shores within the Territorial District of Timiskaming beginning at a point situate 60 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Roland Road and extending northerly for a distance of 500 metres.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of August 31, 2023 and the day this Regulation is filed.
