Amending Reg. 619 of R.R.O. 1990

(SPEED LIMITS)

1. (1) Schedule 73 to Regulation 619 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by adding the following Part:

Part 0.1

District of Parry Sound — Municipality of Killarney

District of Sudbury — City of Greater Sudbury

1.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 69 lying between a point situate 2,550 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Pickerel River Road in the Municipality of Killarney within the Territorial District of Parry Sound, and a point situate 2,750 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre line of the King’s Highway known as No. 537 in the City of Greater Sudbury within the Territorial District of Sudbury.

(2) Part 1 of Schedule 73 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

1.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 69 in the City of Greater Sudbury lying between a point situate 2,750 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre line of the King’s Highway known as No. 537, and a point situate 1,585 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Estaire Road.

2. Parts 0.1 and 1 of Schedule 124 to the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:

1.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 401 lying between a point situate at its intersection with the Ontario-Quebec boundary in the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry and a point situate 1,690 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Curry Hill Road / County Road 23 in the Township of South Glengarry.

2.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 401(north leg, also known as Dougall Parkway) in the County of Essex lying between a point situate at its intersection with the King’s Highway known as No. 401 in the Town of Tecumseh and a point situate 176 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as the Sixth Concession in the City of Windsor.

3.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 401 lying between a point situate 2,240 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of Highway 16 in the Township of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal and a point situate 3,300 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Gardiners Road / County Road 38 in the City of Kingston.

4.  That part of the westbound lanes of the King’s Highway known as No. 401 in the County of Essex lying between a point situate 2,675 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Essex County Road 46 (also known as Provincial Road) in the Town of Tecumseh and a point situate 695 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Lambton Road in the City of Windsor.

3. (1) Schedule 126 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following Part:

4. (1) Schedule 129 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following Part:

1.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 406 lying between a point in the southbound lanes situate 1,275 metres measured southerly from the centre line of the roadway known as Saint David’s Road in the City of Thorold to a point in the southbound lanes situate 1,500 metres measured northerly from the northern limits of the roadway known as Niagara Regional Road No. 27 (also known as East Main Street) in the City of Welland.

2.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 406 lying between a point in the northbound lanes situate at the northern limits of the roadway known as Niagara Regional Road No. 27 (also known as East Main Street) in the City of Welland to a point situate 735 metres measured southerly from the centre line of the roadway known as Saint David’s Road in the City of Thorold.

(2) Part 1 of Schedule 129 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

1.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 406 in the City of St. Catharines in the Regional Municipality of Niagara lying between a point situate at its intersection with the King’s Highway known as the Queen Elizabeth Way and a point situate 100 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the northerly limit of the overpass structure of the roadway known as Niagara Regional Road No. 38.

2.  That part of the northbound lanes of the King’s Highway known as No. 406 in the Regional Municipality of Niagara lying between a point situate 1,000 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the northerly limit of the overpass structure of the Canadian National Railway in the City of St. Catharines and a point situate 735 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Saint David’s Road in the City of Thorold.

4.  That part of the southbound lanes of the King’s Highway known as No. 406 in the City of Welland in the Regional Municipality of Niagara beginning at a point situate 500 metres measured northerly from the northern limits of the roadway known as Niagara Regional Road No. 27 (also known as East Main Street) extending northerly to a point 1,500 metres measured northerly from the northern limits of the roadway known as Niagara Regional Road No. 27 (also known as East Main Street).

5. (1) Schedule 260 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following Part:

1.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 416 in the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville lying between a point situate 2,580 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre line of the overpass for the roadway known as Cedar Grove Road and a point situate 980 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Fallowfield Road / County Road 12 in the City of Ottawa.

(2) Part 1 of Schedule 260 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

6. This Regulation comes into force on the later of July 12, 2024 and the day this Regulation is filed.
