Amending Reg. 619 of R.R.O. 1990

(SPEED LIMITS)

1. (1) Part 3 of Schedule 69 to Regulation 619 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by adding the following paragraphs:

District of Timiskaming — City of Temiskaming Shores

Twp. of James — Village of Elk Lake

2.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 65 in the City of Temiskaming Shores lying between a point situate 1290 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centreline of the south junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 11 and a point situate 740 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the easterly junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 560 in the Village of Elk Lake in the Township of James in the Territorial District of Timiskaming.

Twp. of Matachewan

3.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 65 lying between a point situate 660 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centre line of the westerly junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 560 in the Village of Elk Lake in the Township of James and a point situate at its intersection with the centreline of the King’s Highway known as No. 66 in the Township of Matachewan in the Territorial District of Timiskaming.

(2) Part 5 of Schedule 69 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraphs:

District of Timiskaming — Twp. of James — Village of Elk Lake

2.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 65 in the Village of Elk Lake in the Township of James in the Territorial District of Timiskaming lying between a point situate 160 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centre line of the westerly junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 560 and extending westerly for a distance of 500 metres.

3.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 65 in the Village of Elk Lake in the Township of James in the Territorial District of Timiskaming lying between a point situate 240 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the easterly junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 560 and extending easterly there along for a distance of 500 metres.

District of Timiskaming — City of Temiskaming Shores

4.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 65 in the City of Temiskaming Shores in the Territorial District of Timiskaming lying between a point situate 940 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centre line of the south junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 11 and extending westerly for a distance of 350 metres.

(3) Paragraph 4 of Part 6 of Schedule 69 to the Regulation is amended by,

(a)  striking out “beginning at” and substituting “lying between”; and

(b)  striking out “800” and substituting “940”.

2. (1) Part 3 of Schedule 159 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraphs:

District of Timiskaming — Twp. of Charlton and Dack

Twp. of James — Village of Elk Lake

1.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 560 in the Township of Charlton and Dack lying between a point situate at its intersection with the centreline of the King’s Highway known as No. 11 and a point situate 800 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the easterly junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 65 in the Village of Elk Lake in the Township of James in the Territorial District of Timiskaming.

Twp. of Nicol — Village of Gowganda

2.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 560 lying between a point situate 480 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centre line of the westerly junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 65 in the Village of Elk Lake in the Township of James and a point situate 610 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Second Ave. in the Village of Gowganda in the Unorganized Township of Nicol in the Territorial District of Timiskaming.

(2) Part 5 of Schedule 159 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraphs:

District of Timiskaming — Twp. of James — Village of Elk Lake

1.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 560 in the Village of Elk Lake in the Township of James in the Territorial District of Timiskaming lying between a point situate 180 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centre line of the westerly junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 65 and extending westerly for a distance of 300 metres.

District of Timiskaming — Twp. of James — Village of Elk Lake

2.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 560 in the Village of Elk Lake in the Township of James in the Territorial District of Timiskaming lying between a point situate 500 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the easterly junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 65 and extending easterly for a distance of 300 metres.

(3) Paragraph 1 of Part 6 of Schedule 159 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

District of Timiskaming — Twp. of James — Village of Elk Lake

1.  That part of the King’s Highway known as Nos. 560 and 65 in the Village of Elk Lake in the Township of James in the Territorial District of Timiskaming lying between a point situate at its intersection with the centre line of the easterly junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 65 and a point situate at its intersection with the centre line of the westerly junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 65.

(4) Part 6 of Schedule 159 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraphs:

District of Timiskaming — Twp. of James — Village of Elk Lake

4.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 560 in the Village of Elk Lake in the Township of James in the Territorial District of Timiskaming lying between a point situate at its intersection with the centre line of the easterly junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 65 extending easterly for a distance of 500 metres.

5.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 560 in the Village of Elk Lake in the Township of James in the Territorial District of Timiskaming lying between a point situate at its intersection with the centre line of the westerly junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 65 extending westerly for a distance of 180 metres.

3. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
