Amending O. Reg. 664/98

(Fish Licensing)

1. Section 31.1 of Ontario Regulation 664/98 is amended by adding the following subsection:

(2.1) The Agreement Among the The Chippewas of Nawash First Nation and Saugeen First Nation and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario as represented by the Minister of Natural Resources and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada as represented by the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development Canada, dated June 20, 2000, which contains a provision stating that the agreement is to have the effect of a commercial fishing license, shall be deemed to be a commercial fishing licence issued under the authority of the Act and the Ontario Fishery Regulations.

2. Section 36 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

36. A licence under this Regulation, other than a deemed licence, is not valid unless it is signed by the holder and issuer in the space provided for the signature.
