Amending Reg. 619 of R.R.O. 1990

(Speed Limits)

Note: Since the end of 2001, Regulation 619 has been amended by Ontario Regulations 9/02, 53/02, 55/02, 152/02 and 221/02.  Previous amendments are listed in the Table of Regulations published in The Ontario Gazette dated January 19, 2002.

1. (1) Paragraph 25 of Part 3 of Schedule 6 to Regulation 619 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is revoked.

(2) Paragraph 13 of Part 5 of Schedule 6 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

Regional Municipality of Halton — Town of Halton Hills

13.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 7 in the Town of Halton Hills in The Regional Municipality of Halton commencing at a point situate 285 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Winston Churchill Boulevard and extending easterly for a distance of 245 metres to the boundary between The Regional Municipality of Halton and The Regional Municipality of Peel.

2. (1) Paragraph 4 of Part 1 of Schedule 13 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

District of Parry Sound — Municipality of Powassan, District of Nipissing —
City of North Bay

4.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 11 in the Territorial District of Parry Sound lying between a point situate 785 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as McFadden Line in the Municipality of Powassan and a point situate 1475 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Seymour Street in the City of North Bay in the Territorial District of Nipissing.

(2) Paragraph 26 of Part 2 of Schedule 13 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

District of Parry Sound — Municipality of Powassan — Village of South River

26.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 11 in the Territorial District of Parry Sound lying between a point situate 425 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the northerly limits of the roadway known as Marie Street in the Village of South River and a point situate 785 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as McFadden Line in the Municipality of Powassan.

(3) Paragraph 20 of Part 3 of Schedule 13 to the Regulation is revoked.

(4) Paragraph 11 of Part 5 of Schedule 13 to the Regulation is revoked.

3. (1) Part 3 of Schedule 212 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraph:

District of Parry Sound — Municipality of Powassan

1.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 522 in the Municipality of Powassan in the Territorial District of Parry Sound lying between a point situate at its intersection with the easterly limit of the King’s Highway known as No. 11 and a point situate 30 metres measured northerly at its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as McCarthy Street.

(2) Part 5 of Schedule 212 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraph:

District of Parry Sound — Municipality of Powassan

1.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 522 in the Municipality of Powassan in the Territorial District of Parry Sound lying between a point situate 30 metres measured northerly at its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as McCarthy Street and point situate at its intersection with the northerly limit of the roadway known as Main Street.
