GENERAL

Wild rice harvesting areas

1. (1) Ontario is divided into the wild rice harvesting areas shown on the plans filed in the office of the Surveyor General under the numbers in Column 1 of the following Table and the dates shown opposite in Column 2 of the Table.

(2) Each wild rice harvesting area shown on the plans listed in Column 1 of the following Table is situate in whole or in part in the geographic area, as described in Ontario Regulation 180/03 (Division of Ontario into Geographic Areas) made under the Territorial Division Act, 2002, listed opposite in Column 3 of the Table.

Application for licence

2. (1) An application for a licence shall be in the form that the Deputy Minister approves.

(2) The fee for a licence is $1.

Form of licence

3. (1) A licence shall be in the form that the Deputy Minister approves.

(2) A licence expires on October 31 next after the date of issue.

(3) A licence is not valid unless it is signed by the licensee.

Transferability of licence

4. A licence shall not be transferred without the approval of the Deputy Minister.

Revocation

5. Regulation 1097 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is revoked.

Commencement

6. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
