Amending O. Reg. 257/10
(BEER AND WINE TAX)
1. Subsection 2 (2) of Ontario Regulation 257/10 is amended by striking out “Indian” and substituting “Indigenous”.
2. Section 4 of the Regulation is revoked.
3. Paragraph 4 of subsection 11 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “9, 11, 26” and substituting “9, 10, 26”.
4. Subsection 14 (4) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “July 20, October 20” and substituting “July 20 or October 20”.
5. The Regulation is amended by adding the following section:
Record-keeping by authorized grocery store
19.1 Every authorized grocery store shall keep a record of the following information:
1. The quantity of wine and wine coolers purchased or otherwise received by the operator of the authorized grocery store.
2. The number of non-refillable containers in which the wine and wine coolers were purchased or otherwise received by the operator of the authorized grocery store.
3. The quantity of wine and wine coolers sold, delivered, transferred or consumed by the operator of the authorized grocery store.
4. The retail price of the wine and wine coolers sold, delivered, transferred or consumed by the operator of the authorized grocery store.
5. The number of non-refillable containers in which the wine and wine coolers were sold, delivered or transferred by the operator of the authorized grocery store, including containers containing wine and wine coolers which, under the Act, the operator is deemed to have purchased.
Commencement
6. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
