Amending O. Reg. 568/05
(DELEGATION OF REGULATION-MAKING AUTHORITY TO THE MINISTER)
1. (1) Subsection 1 (1) of Ontario Regulation 568/05 is amended by,
(a) striking out “subsection (2)” and substituting “subsections (2) and (3)”; and
(b) striking out “20” and substituting “20, 23.1, 24”.
(2) Subsection 1 (1) of the Regulation, as amended by subsection (1), is amended by striking out “13, 14” and substituting “14”.
(3) Section 1 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:
(3) The Minister’s authority to make regulations respecting transitional matters under paragraph 24 of subsection 51 (1) of the Act is limited to those matters which are delegated to the Minister.
Commencement
2. (1) Except as otherwise provided in this section, this Regulation comes into force on the later of the day subsection 32 (12) of the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2020 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
(2) Subsection 1 (2) comes into force on the later of the day subsection 32 (5) of the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2020 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
