Amending O. Reg. 389/10

(GENERAL)

1. Section 27 of Ontario Regulation 389/10 is amended by adding the following subsection:

(3) A person who is exempted by an order of the Board made under section 57.1 of the Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998 from the requirement to be licensed in respect of any activity referred to in clause 57 (d) of that Act, or from the requirement to be licensed in respect of any activity to which section 48 of that Act applies, is exempt from Part II of the Energy Consumer Protection Act, 2010,

(a)  for the period in which the Board’s order remains in effect; and

(b)  for the purpose of participating in the pilot or demonstration project specified in the Board’s order.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2024 and the day it is filed.
