Amending O. Reg. 69/01

(GENERAL)

1. (1) Section 2 of Ontario Regulation 69/01 is amended by striking out “police force” wherever it appears and substituting in each case “police service”.

(2) The French version of paragraph 9 of subsection 2 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “à un corps de police”.

2. Clause 2 (4) (b) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

(b)  obtained from the ministry, the federal Department of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness or any law enforcement agency in Canada.

3. The French version of subsection 4 (3) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “à un corps de police”.

4. Subsection 6 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Department of the Solicitor General” and substituting “Department of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness”.

5. Section 8 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “at www.forms.ssb.gov.on.ca under the listing for the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services” at the end.

Commencement

6. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day subsection 2 (1) of Schedule 1 (Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019) to the Comprehensive Ontario Police Services Act, 2019 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
