Amending O. Reg. 357/06

(HONORARIA FOR BOARD MEMBERS)

1. Ontario Regulation 357/06 is amended by adding the following section:

Reduction for breach of code of conduct

13. For the purposes of paragraph 2 of subsection 218.3.1 (1) of the Act, the maximum amount of a reduction from a member’s honorarium for a breach of the board’s code of conduct is 25 per cent of the member’s combined base and enrolment amount for the year of the term of office in which the breach occurred.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 24 of Schedule 2 to the Better Schools and Student Outcomes Act, 2023 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
