Order in Council 1063/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas under O.C. 653/2020, Janice Dymond was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Toronto Convention Centre Corporation for a period not exceeding three years effective April 16, 2020;

And whereas Janice Dymond is now to be designated as chair of the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Toronto Convention Centre Corporation;

And whereas Ms. Dymond’s designation as chair cannot outlast her appointment as a member;

Now therefore, pursuant to section 2 and 3 of the Metropolitan Toronto Convention Centre Corporation Act,

Janice Dymond of Toronto

be designated as chair of the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Toronto Convention Centre Corporation to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding the earlier of April 15, 2023 or the date of the revocation of O.C. 653/2020, effective the date this Order in Council is made.
