Order in Council 1064/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas under O.C. 607/2019, John Ecker was appointed as a director of the board of directors of the Ontario Heritage Trust for a period not exceeding three years effective April 18, 2019;

And whereas John Ecker is to now be designated as chair of the board of directors of the Ontario Heritage Trust;

And whereas Mr. Ecker’s designation as chair cannot outlast his appointment as a director;

Now therefore, pursuant to section 5 of the Ontario Heritage Act,

John Ecker of Whitby

be designated as chair of the board of directors of the Ontario Heritage Trust to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding the earlier of April 17, 2022 or the date of the revocation of O.C. 607/2019, effective the latter of July 11, 2020 or the date this Order in Council is made.
